Introducing Cook Nourish Bliss!

It’s here! Today’s the day! A new name for the new year!

Drumroll please … we are now officially Cook Nourish Bliss!

Let’s first take care of some housekeeping!

  • If for some reason you find any broken links or technical issues with the new website, please let me know! We’ve worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to make this transition as smooth as possible, so this shouldn’t be an issue. But just in case, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
  • While I was able to do a lot of things beforehand, it is definitely going to take some time to switch over all mentions of our previous name on this website. I appreciate your patience – I’m a one woman show!

Now, let’s move on to the good stuff.

Snazzy New Features

One of my main goals for this redesign (in addition to that whole new name thing) was to make this site more user-friendly for you. There are a few additional changes (all good things!) that will be rolling out over time. All of which will combine to provide a way better experience!

So! Let me point out a few things that are live now!

New and Improved Recipe Index

Gah, I am so excited about this! It’s actually laid out in the way I have all the content organized! You can visually see all the categories in one place, as well as all subcategories where applicable. If you click into a specific category, you’ll see nice pictures of each recipe. So much better!!

Search Bars

You can now find a search bar in several places throughout the site!

On the page with all the recipes, at the bottom of the sidebar and at the very top right corner of the website (the small search icon!).

New Categories

Some of you may have already noticed, but I have been working to add some new diet specific categories over the last month or so. These include: Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian and Vegan. All are “general” categories – i.e. they are pulling all types of recipes (dinner ideas, breakfast, dessert, you name it).

This is a super manual process that requires me to go through each old recipe on the site – so just keep in mind that I am slowly working through the archives!

Finally, I just want to take a second to give a HUGE thank you to Lindsay from Purr Design for the beautiful new website! She took all my jumbled thoughts and created the gorgeousness you see here today. She also handled all of the technical things behind the actual name change, which was one of my biggest worries about this whole process!

Cheers to 2016 my friends!
